Physical asset verification is a procedure used by external experts to ensure that a company's assets are in fact there. It is critical that every corporate entity completes this process at the conclusion of each financial year. Our method of verification is to reconcile fixed asset accounting records to assets discovered during the physical inventory taking procedure line by line. We'll be working with a group of associates and supervisors. We have a specific staff that can be adjusted to a local area in order to serve in remote regions.

The objective of Physical Verification of Assets:

  • • Statutory Compliance
  • • Verify the Existence of Assets
  • • Valuation – Accounting for any discrepancy
  • • Internal Compliance
  • • Critical for Continuous Customer Service

The reconciled inventory file is linked to the existing fixed asset accounting records using a consistent audit trail.

We deliver the audit trail (MS Excel file) and numerous particular reconciliation reports at the conclusion of the project:

  • Matched assets
  • Unrecorded additions
  • Unrecorded retirements
